My entry for the 2023 Scorelive Film Scoring Competition! This was my very first film scoring competition, and I loved having the opportunity to work with a clip from a feature film. This clip is from the recent animation Tad the Lost Explorer, and I tried to use two main themes; one for when Tad is managing his escape, and one for when it looks like he is getting caught. My main challenge was to remain cohesive without getting too repetitive. This was another great chance to sync up my music with the visuals, which is always fun to do.
